Finding the right saucer

A saucer catches water that drains from your planter. To find the right fit, compare the planter’s base diameter with the saucer’s usable inner diameter.

Measure where the planter sits

The saucer’s inner diameter must be greater than the planter’s base diameter. Matching measurements are not enough: the planter needs room to sit inside the saucer.

For example, Pudding Calico has a base diameter of 11.8cm. Its saucer needs an inner diameter greater than 11.8cm—not equal to it.

Use the saucer’s internal measurement, rather than its outer diameter. Leave a little clearance for the natural variations in pottery.

Check what’s included

Read your selected product option before ordering. “Pot Only” does not include a saucer. An option named “Pot + Saucer” includes the saucer specified in that option.

After watering

Let excess water drain, then empty the saucer. Avoid leaving your planter standing in collected water.
